Toni Morrison
Toni Morrison recently left us. She was a writer of novels, short stories, and acute commentary that managed to be both inclusive and applicable. She was lauded by the Nobel Committee, Oprah Winfrey, and the U.S. government, among others. This week, Leigh and P. T. recall the life and works of Toni Morrison. Guest Carol Andrews, associate professor emerita of literature who has taught courses on Morrison’s novels, helps us establish a context for Morrison’s literature and times.
