Contemporary Classics on Tuesday will be centered around an interview with composer William Price. William Price is an Associate Professor of Music and Coordinator of Music Theory and Composition at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). He is most famous for his prodigious production of instrumental works particularly for wind instruments, but he is becoming more and more known for his electro-acoustic works. This interview will feature a number of his works including “Hook Line and Sinker” and if there is time we will also including music by his mentors Dinos Constantinides and Stephen David Beck.
