When Moon Sings

When Moon SingsThis week, we’ll sprinkle Stewarts around in preparation for Christmas.

Xibalba is the Mayan underworld – if you don’t speak Mayan, literally, The Place of Fear.  Clint Mansell and the Kronos Quartet did a beautiful interpretation for the film, The Fountain.  There were lots of different opinions about the film, but the music was put up for several awards.

We will also have Walk Off The Earth with an old hippie tune, Jacob Gurevitsch contemplating a female Da Vinci, Ryan Stewart, and a jazz group called The Quintet.

Walk Off the Earth is a Canadian group of five singer/musicians that made a huge impact on the internet with their music.  They specialize in witty videos and really good musicianship from some odd instruments.  It’s actually hard to purchase recordings, because of their focus on the net for communications.

P.T. estimates he’ll be ready for Christmas around President’s Day.  This and other musings when it’s Soapbox time.
