live broadcasts over the Internet
After years of work, live broadcasts over the Internet began this
morning from the station’s studio. This achievement represents an
extraordinary effort by a large group of people. At the same time, it
also represents an important next step toward the goal of broadcasting
community radio over the terrestrial airwaves in Savannah.
We hope that you’ll visit the online stream and check things out for
yourself. The stream can be accessed from the station’s website,
www.wruu.org. Shows are currently broadcast live from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m.,
and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. A detailed schedule
and descriptions of shows can be found on the website.

And watch for further announcements from the program committee about
future meetings and ways to help the station.
