Virtue ethics is a moral theory that goes back millennia … yet appears to be all but forgotten today. Although “autonomy” translates to “self-governance,” it seems increasingly misapplied as selfishness. Is virtue dead? Or can we still develop and hone (and encourage our leaders to cultivate) more virtuous states of character? This week, Leigh provides an overview of how we can practice — and renew — virtuous means and authentic relationships.
