7/4       Happy Independence Day! What better way to spend the morning of the Fourth, before all the celebration begins, than to hear a talk about the historical events and cultural elements that pushed the nascent American colonists to collectively and officially declare their Independence from Great Britain with Dr. Christopher Hendricks, colonial and revolutionary America scholar and Interim Head of the History Dept. at Armstrong State University. There are reasons for all the fireworks, music and balloons, y’all.

An informative introduction and overview of this workforce development agency for the region, which seeks to connect employers to local workers through its Hire Savannah Program and also see how things are going with WorkSource Coastal’s Summer Youth Employment Program.

7/27     District 2 Alderman Bill Durrence

Another visit with the downtown area’s alderman for an update on all the developmental and legislative activities going on
