Books for Graduates
There is an immense body of literature around graduates. Some of it is fiction, like Goodbye Columbus or The Graduate. There are lists of books that people want graduates to read or give graduates as gifts, and Oh The Places You’ll Go by Doctor Seuss is on almost all of them (and those fiction books are on none of them). There are self-help books about how to get through this transition period in life, and there are tons of articles that practically demand that you become depressed about graduating.
This week, Leigh Rich and P. T. Bridgeport will examine books for and about graduates … and pick a few that might actually be meaningful. Tune in this week as Leigh and P. T. wonder if the right answer is still “plastics.”
