The Little Prince
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
Best known for his magical fable The Little Prince, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry lived an adventurous life aside from literature. His books about his experiences in early aviation, especially Wind, Sand and Stars, paint vivid pictures of the people and machines of his life — and their failures. His disappearance in the Mediterranean during WWII caused mourning in France, and the discovery of his fate became a national obsession. This week, Leigh, P. T., and Dr. C. (regular-but-still-special-guest Professor Carol Andrews) look at his life and his works.
