As a person (and house guest), Arthur Rimbaud was challenging, to say the least, but he produced some of the most engaging poetry of his era and inspired other poets to follow his lead. Though he stopped writing in his twenties, his legacy has stretched far beyond his short writing life. This week, Leigh, P. T., and Dr. C examine Rimbaud’s lasting influence and his poem “The Drunken Boat.”
