Weldon Kees

After poet, painter, journalist, and jazz musician Weldon Kees disappeared in 1955, his car was found at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge. Though nobody ever found remains, some say they have seen him since in unfamiliar surroundings — Texas or Idaho and living a totally different life. His poetry presents a feeling of unease, and this week, Leigh, P. T., and Dr. C search his works for hints as to what motivated him and why he would change his life so dramatically.
