Thursday is Thanksgiving so today’s show is about giving thanks and gratitude.

We are going to start off the first set with “I Got Plenty O’ Nuttin’” from the original movie soundtrack of Porgy and Bess. Then we will hear Elaine Stritch with “I’m Still Here” originally from Follies. This version is from her one woman show, Elaine Stritch at Liberty. And we will finish the set with “All Good Gifts” from the 2000 Off-Broadway cast recording of Godspell. Here’s “I Got Plenty O’ Nuttin’”.

We are celebrating Thanksgiving today with songs of gratitude and you just heard “I Got Plenty O’ Nuttin” from Porgy and Bess, Elaine Stritch singing “I’m Still Here” from her one woman show, Elaine Stritch at Liberty, and “All Good Gifts” from Godspell.

Thanksgiving is also a day when family gathers together and we stuff ourselves with food. Opening the second set is Jerry Orbach, Angela Lansbury, and the cast of the Disney animated film, Beauty and the Beast, with “Be Our Guest”. We will follow that with “Food Glorious Food” from Oliver!. Then we will hear “Suppertime” from You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown. And we will conclude the set with Stephanie Mills singing “Home” from The Wiz. Here’s “Be Our Guest” from Beauty and The Beast.
