• You just heard John Rubenstein and Jill Clayburgh singing “Love Song” from the original 1972 production of Pippin. We Just had Valentine’s Day, so today’s theme is Love Songs.

• For this set, we are going to open with “I’ve Never Been In Love Before” from the original 1950 production of Guys & Dolls. Then we are going to hear Mary Martin sing about “A Wonderful Guy” from the original 1949 production of South Pacific. And we will close out the set with “It Only Takes a Moment” from the 2017 revival of Hello, Dolly!. Here’s “I’ve Never Been In Love Before” from Guys & Dolls.

• We are listening to Love Songs today and you just heard “I’ve Never Been In Love Before” from Guys & Dolls, “A Wonderful Guy” from South Pacific, and “It Only Takes a Moment” Hello, Dolly!.

• Starting off our second set of Love Songs we have “If This Isn’t Love” from the film version of Finian’s Rainbow. We will follow that with this playful version of “People Will Say We’re in Love” from the 2019 revival of Oklahoma!. Then we will hear Raul Esparza sing “Marry Me a Little” from the 2006 revival of Company. This was a song originally written for Company but was cut out of the original show and then reinstated in later productions. And we will close out the set with the song “Without Love” from the film version of Hairspray. Here’s “If This Isn’t Love” from Finian’s Rainbow.
