Tonight on Contemporary Classics I a talking with flutist Mary Matthews and composers Cherise Leiter and Nicole Chamberlain who together along with the Newfound Chamber Winds directed by Tyler Austin have created the album Flutelore. Flutelore has two concerti for flute and wind ensemble: Four Proverbs by Cherise Leiter and Animalis by Nicole Chamberlain. Flutelore was released this past Friday, February 14th.
