Contemporary Classics 03/13/2018

Tuesday March 13th from 7-9 pm. Contemporary Classics will feature an interview with composer Raphael Crystal.  We will be talking about his work Fits and Starts which is an improvised work based upon the 12 tone scale for woodwinds and piano.  To round out the show we will be featuring other 12-tone works by Ernst  Krenek, Arnold  Schoenberg, Alban Berg, Milton Babbitt and Bill Evans.   Yes jazz performer Bill Evans wrote a tune called  T.T.T. (Twelve Tone Tune)  which fits right in with the rest of the show.
