Contemporary Classics update

7pm  Tuesday July 11, on Contemporary Classics will feature contemporary music of the cello.  All of the works composed in the 21^st century sent to me yesterday. Sequenza XIV for solo cello by Luciano Berio .  Each work is paired with a poem so both the poem and the Sequenza XIV for solo cello will be presented.  The newest work is a cello sonata by Ed WIndels a New York Composer.  The sonata for cello and piano in a pre-premiere/pre-publication version  which will be only a week old when broadcast next week on Tuesday around 7:30.   After listening anyone interested in performing this work should contact Ed at his website http://www.ed-windels.com/.
