Elizabeth Bishop had a difficult childhood, yet developed considerable talents in music, art, and poetry – especially poetry.  She became one of the most regarded poets of her time, with Robert Lowell and John Berryman.  She travelled widely, and wrote poems that were gems of observation.  Join Leigh Rich, P.
