This week, Carol Cole comes to chat with P.T. Carol is a home-grown artist of considerable talent and skill. She is able to catch seemingly prosaic scenes and give them a special life through use of light or colors. While her style is hardly photorealistic, she includes small details that fix the feeling of the work. Even better, she paints local scenes, often with a whimsical twist.
In music, we have Greg Reiter with some Latin-flavored guitar, the great Keith Jarrett on piano from his Carnegie Hall concert, the “ambient electronics” of Patrick O’Hearn and Ryan Farish, and more. P. T. shakes his head and wonders about the old people today on his Soapbox.
