Friday, May 18, 2018: Savannah author Judy Fogarty joins Listening to Literature to talk about her debut novel, Breaking and Holding, as well as her recently completed second novel, Moon. Breaking and Holding begins in the Summer of 1978, and most of the novel takes place on Kiawah Island near Charleston. It tells the story of two women: young housewife Patricia Cullen and single and career-driven Lynn Hewitt, who are connected through Patricia’s husband, Jack. The novel speaks to fundamental human issues such as love, friendship, relationships, finding one’s own voice, and tennis.
