Save the Date! Hello Neighbor-Savannah. 04/09/2022.
Calling all Greater West Savannah Neighbors, Neighborhood Leaders, Community Groups, Musicians, Artists, Youth Groups, Nonprofits and Vendors.
Saturday April 9, 2022, 10 – 4pm. Hello Neighbor SAV will be partnering with Greater West Savannah @ EnMarket Arena Outdoor Plaza to showcase artists, entertainment, youth groups, neighbors, and community leaders from Districts 1 & 5 in an effort to meet our neighbors citywide.
There are FIVE ways to participate in the Spring 2022 event:
1- as a participant, by coming and participating in the free art and community building activities.
2 – as an artist, entertainer, musician, speaker from Districts 1 or 5 to be featured at the event.
3 – as a Neighborhood Association table from Districts 1 or 5.
4 -as a non-profit table or community service booth citywide.
5 – as a vendor selling your own local products with a $10 suggested donation citywide -or- free for those living or operating from Districts 1 & 5. All booths will be allowed to bring a 10 x 10 canopy of their own, tables, chairs, and any additional equipment needed. Power will be an option for those needing power.
“Hello Neighbor Savannah” partners with Greater West Savannah, Enmarket Arena Outdoor Plaza, and its mission is to promote the intersection between people, community groups, neighborhoods, and organizations by providing free, diverse, all-inclusive public community-based events to promote equity in our communities.
“Hello Neighbor” was created to use ART as a catalyst for SOCIAL CHANGE. These events are created with the purpose of placing the onus of good community relations on each of us by providing platforms that encourage ways for us to engage with all our neighbors. Although everyone is encouraged to participate, a special invitation is extended to groups that promote social, political, and economic equality.
