The Rock’nRoll Cookbook show will present community  small works.  We are calling local creative audiences and reaching out to all “low country” writers and musician-composer/storyteller/poet groups, etc.

The concept is simple:  Works must be audible and short, i.e. small works  (3 minutes or less of performance time;  we do give a 15 sec grace period)  but any audible genre is accepted:  songs, stories, poems, plays, audio art, songs, instrumentals, spoken word art–anything that can be presented effectively on radio and does not violate our guidelines for language usage.   We will require a simple statement from any submitting artist to give WRUU permission to air the work for purposes of the festival broadcast only and without any remuneration to the artist, presenter, or WRUU staff or advertisers.
