“Music: Local and Sustainable” is a music program that features interviews with local musicians and traveling musicians who are performing in town along with the performance of their music. This is a perfect way to get to know your favorite local musicians better and learn about other local musicians with whom you are not familiar. Dave Lake was a radio personality at KTXT-FM and WKNC-FM in the late
1970s. But in the 1980s, he become more involved in his job as a
physical therapy educator and administrator. Dave retired
in 2015 and has returned to radio with WRUU to help organize programming at the station and started this show.
Dave hosts four other shows “Evening Eclectic” on Sunday evening, “Contemporary Classics” on Tuesday evening, Jazz Brunch on Mondays to Thursdays around noon, and Four Centuries of Great Music on Sunday afternoon -make sure to check them out!
