She is the author of Diamonds in my Own Backyard, While You are Waiting, and the soon-to-be released, Using the Diamonds in my Own Backyard. She taught courses in English, English as a Second Language, and reading at Savannah Technical College for over 7 years before transferring to Technical College of the Lowcountry in Bluffton, South Carolina.
