Thu. 1 pm EDT- This week on Courageous Conversations with Sheree, I welcome back Jennifer Glass. Today it’s a difficult but necessary topic. Join us and hear for yourself.10/31/2019.
Outspoken, bold, and witty, Jenn is the woman who will make you laugh
and speak the truth in love, even when it’s tough. She’s the Program &
Fundraising Coordinator for Help of Beaufort, and Director of Mobile
Meals, north of the Broad. Her experience in nonprofits has taught her
how structure and develop individual programs from the ground up.
As a survivor of domestic abuse and loss, Jenn took a life that was
broken and dissected it. With painful introspection, honesty, and a
lot of research and hard work Jenn was able to not only map out the
poor life choices that brought her to a broken place, but also
redesign her life into one peace, joy, and fulfillment. She’s using
what she learned to develop a life skills class that addresses the
poor habits and choices women often make as a result of trauma, abuse,
and neglect throughout childhood. Knocking down negative beliefs, self
destructive behaviors, and teaching basic life skills, she is
determined to change lives.
Overcoming grief is a subject she has become intimately acquainted
with and she believes its an important subject to talk about openly.
Jenn also teaches Holistic Financial Makeover workshops in the fall,
and is the mother of a wild and vibrant 5 year old little girl. Her
life goal is to build a legacy of women’s education, empowerment, and
joyful living.
