Alicia Scott joins me in the WRUU studio for another of my Candidate Conversations @ Savannah Lexicon. Alicia is the Democratic challenger for – Georgia House of Representatives District 164. Alicia holds a B.S. in Political Science from the University of Maryland University College in Adelphi, MD; an M.A. in Diplomacy with the specialization in International Commerce from Norwich University in Northfield, VT.
Alicia is married to a retired 22-year US Army veteran. They have four children and reside with their daughter Taylor and miniature pinscher Belle in Savannah, GA. In 2009, their family moved to S. Korea on military orders for 2-years.
In 2014.Alicia founded Introspect Consulting Group LLC, a Marketing, Public Relations and Strategic Planning firm in Savannah.
Alicia is a community advocate in the Savannah-Chatham area who is known for educating citizens about complicated policy and how they affect the public. Her platform issues are:
Government Transparency & Ethics Reform, creating policy that removes roadblocks to sustainable industry in our region, and Environmental Justice & Protection. Alicia is a volunteer host on Savannah’s local community radio station WRUU 107.5FM.
