Harry is the composer in residence at the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and the co-curator of the Winnipeg New Music Festival. I met him at this year’s Winnipeg New Music Festival. We talk about two of his works: Brittle Fracture and String Quartet #4 –Aftermath. In addition I will be playing John Adams Harmonielehre, which was on the first concert of this year’s Winnipeg New Music Festival and was on the first concert of the first Winnipeg New Music Festival almost 3 decades ago. 04/09/2019
