With the phrase “April showers brings May flower” we think about the importance of water.  So water is this week’s theme for Contemporary Classics. Emily Doolittle’s “Four pieces about water”, Luke Carlson’s “Water Words”, David Lang’s “Writing on Water”, Toru Takemitsu’s “I Hear The Water Dreaming”, Richard Faith”s “Sea Pieces”  and of course Debussy’s “La Mer” are among the works in this Tuesday’s program.  Of course Contemporary Classics is on Tuesday evening from 7-9 pm EDT on wruu.org or in Savannah at 107.5 FM.
